ICT Contract Manager

My Client, a state Government Agency is looking for an ICT Contract Manager on a contract until June 2020.

The main purpose of the role is to improve the overall level of operational hygiene and contract governance to a major outsourcing arrangement currently in place. The focus is to drive stronger oversight and management over vendor performance and service delivery whilst fostering greater collaboration and partnership between the two parties. Key outputs to be delivered are:

  • Review the contract and make recommendations to management to improve the contract;
  • Establish a governance and oversight model over the contract with clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities;
  • Review and update the contract's service delivery schedules to ensure they provide coverage over the client's required ICT services, and provide sufficient detail to give clarity over what services are being delivered by the vendor;
  • Consult with applicable stakeholders and service tower leads to redevelop the service definitions;
  • Identify efficiencies and develop a savings plan (cost, process and resourcing); and
  • Implement approved changes to the contract.
